Separation- How Setting Guidelines Can Create More Possibilities & Allow You to Maximize The Results You Get From Your Work & Life

by- Tom Kubrak

Have you ever wanted to just concentrate on something for a little bit, but you just couldn’t seem to find the time or place?

It can be frustrating when you want something but you don’t know how to get it. Like really fucking frustrating.

There’s no “one thing cures it all.” It’s about laying one brick at a time and/or taking one brick out at a time.

Then when you take that brick out you have to find something to fill that brick in with.

Sometimes we fill these little gaps in with the wrong bricks too not the right one.

For example… “Hey! I quit smoking!”

Brick that was used to fill in that old brick = Junk food habit

So for the last 2 years I’ve been building something.

After a little nugget I got from a legendary Entrepreneur, Patrick Bet David.

I’ve been building my vision boards.

I have 4 of them.

The Athletics Wall

The Mentors Wall

The Writing Wall- Visions- People, places, things

and

The Design Wall- The City

Each wall represents something different to me. Each time I’m looking at one of these walls I’m able to concentrate and learn something from it. Each Brick came at a certain time to and a different moment in my life(pssst my HP Printer and they send ink to your front door and I’m in debt to it currently. Email me if you want to know how I’m in debt to a printer.)

Now…

They’ve been properly laid.

Separation, a powerful word.

Used in this context it’s about your life and where you need to think about taking things out and bringing other things in.

So why aren’t you able to get what you want done? It may not be the Vision Boards but it may be something else.

What is that something else?

You have to find it and then…

Try it.
